2. What Data We Collect and Why
We use the data you provide through our forms, emails, and consultations to:

  • Answer your inquiries (steps prior to a contract, Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

  • Provide the services you hire (performance of a contract, Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

  • Meet our legal, tax, and professional obligations (legal obligation, Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

  • Send you news about our services, only if you agree (consent, Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

3. Sensitive Data
For immigration procedures, we may need to process health data (such as medical certificates) and criminal record certificates. We do so only when strictly necessary for your application, based on your explicit consent (Art. 9.2.a GDPR) and on the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (Art. 9.2.f GDPR). Criminal record data is processed in accordance with Article 10 GDPR and Article 10 of Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

4. Data About Family Members
If you provide data about your spouse, partner, children, or other relatives, you confirm that you have informed them and are authorized to share it with us.

5. Is Providing Your Data Mandatory?
Fields marked as required are necessary to answer your inquiry. To provide our services, we need the information and documents required by Spanish authorities. If you do not provide them, we may not be able to provide the service.

6. Who We Share It With
We share your data with Spanish authorities and consulates when filing your application, and with service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting and email. We never sell your data.

7. International Transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. These transfers are protected by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. You can request a copy of these safeguards by emailing us.

8. How Long We Keep It

  • Inquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to 12 months.

  • Client data: for the duration of our professional relationship and up to five (5) years afterward to handle possible claims, or longer where tax or other laws require it.

  • Marketing communications: until you unsubscribe.

9. Automated Decisions
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

10. Your Rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, or portability of your data, or withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing jaimelopez@spainboundlg.com. You can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
